    Description

    About the item:
In okay condition (tear at the top which splits the spin about an inch down), this
    Dragon Magazine
is from April 1985.  It is one of Dragon's popular April Fools issues (most April issues of the series were filled with gag monsters, adventures, and more).  This issue includes the famed Nogard adventure (Dragon spelled backwards).  It was designed to help players with ultra powerful characters face an all new, ahem, challenge.  Best of all, this issue is actually hand-signed by legendary fantasy illustrator Larry Elmore (who not only drew the over-burdened character in the Nogard adventure but also the SnarfQuest strip)
Scans include front and back cover as well as the content page from the inside of the magazine, the Nogard adventure, and the SnarfQuest strip (#21, which features Willie, the dragon that thinks he is a duck).
    Dragon
was a mainstay of the RPG industry and, first
published in 1976, it ran through 2007.  T
his particular issue is from its glory years, the 1980's
.  The magazine's popular SnarfQuest comic strip - written and illustrated by Larry Elmore - ran from 1985 to 1989.
Please note- the signature is real.  It is the actual, hand-signed signature of Larry Elmore.  It is not a pre-printed image on the magazine.  It will be shipped with the utmost care.
    Certificate of Authenticity/Provenance:
Excepting pack-pulled autograph trading cards, CGC Signature Series, signed Sideshow prints, and like collectibles, all autographed items Vault Collectibles sells were personally witnessed, by myself, being signed by the writer, artist, or celebrity in question.  No third party is involved.  Further, art sketches - and most published original art I sell - were obtained directly from the artist themselves.
